Hi, my name is Laurie Smith, and I started Bite Me! Dog Treats in 2004. I wanted to find healthy (and yummy) alternative treats for my three dogs, General, Milo and Kemosabe. I started experimenting with different ingredients and settled on a few recipes. My dogs went crazy for them, as did all of my friends' & family's dogs. Soon after, I quit my day job and began baking full time.
I care about what I eat, choosing all natural, organic foods whenever possible. I also care about what my dogs eat. This is why I use only natural human-grade ingredients in Bite Me! Dog Treats, many of which are organic. They are made fresh in small batches, by hand, with love.
